Call Terry Caster Campaign Coverage

Just thought that you would like to read the story in today's Sacramento Bee about Californians Against Hate and our newly launched campaign to "Call Terry Caster" http://callterrycaster.com/ that we announced just yesterday.

Here is the link to the Bee story:
http://www.sacbee.com/111/story/1119451.html It reports on the money coming in to both sides.Terry Caster and his family have contributed a combined total of nearly $300,000.00 to the qualification effort, and earlier this month, to the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign.

The Call Terry Caster campaign and our ongoing Boycott of Doug Manchester's Hotels
http://www.boycottmanchesterhotels.com/ because of his $125,000.00 contribution to Protect Marriage has been picked up by many other newspapers and hundreds of blogs around the country. Here is the most recent list with the links. It makes for great reading!

Doug Manchester, CEO of the Manchester Financial Group of San Diego dougmanchester.com contributed $125,000 to qualify an Initiative Constitutional Amendment, Proposition 8 for the November 4th ballot which defines marriage as only between a man and a woman.

“We feel that if Mr. Manchester and any other individuals give huge amounts of money to take away our freedom to marry, then the LGBT community, our families and our friends should fight back against these purveyors of hate,” said Fred Karger, Campaign Manager of the newly formed Californians Against Hate.
